Super League fixture postponed

Once again, a Super League fixture has been postponed owing to the pandemic.

Tomorrow’s clash between top six hopefuls Warrington Wolves and Hull FC will not take place. Hull FC have recorded a number of positive cases and they’ve been advised to undertake a five day shutdown of training until the next round of tests.

The fixture was set to feature George Williams’ home debut as a Warrington player and would’ve been a huge encounter in the play-off race. The game now joins the growing list of fixtures that could take place at a later date. However, there is no guarantee of that with the table being decided by points percentage.

The games between Huddersfield and Wakefield as well as Hull KR and Leigh will still go ahead tomorrow.
