London Broncos have announced their squad numbers for the upcoming campaign just weeks after their 2021 fixtures were revealed.
The squad numbers have brought to light the talent London currently boast. On loan Wigan centre Chris Hankinson has been given the number 3 shirt and will no doubt be looking to impress this season. The 27 year old made 23 appearances for the Warriors and will bring a real pedigree to the Broncos backs this season.
Their number 7 is another former Super League star in the shape of former Bradford man Jarrod Sammut. Set to join him in the halves is Cory Aston who will wear the number 6 shirt. Son of the Lance Todd winning Mark Aston, the former Sheffield stand-off had spells at Leeds and Castleford.
Speaking of former Leeds men, the man who won the 2015 Grand Final for the Rhinos, Josh Walters, will be plying his trade in the capital this season and has been given the number 13 jersey.
Irish international Ed Chamberlain has been awarded the number 5 shirt with James Meadows handed the number 1 slot. Skipper Will Lovell will wear the number 4 jersey in 2021.
The Broncos will return to competitive action in the Challenge Cup in just under a month’s time against Keighley. They’ll begin their Championship campaign against Halifax.
