Andrew Fifita will not be heading to the Mobile Rocket Stadium to link with brother David, Chris Chester has confirmed.
It’s been a rumour that has been doing the rounds for over a month with Cronulla prop Andrew supposedly making the move to West Yorkshire to join his brother David at Trinity.
But, Chester – in his side’s pre-match press conference in view of travelling to Leeds for Super League round six on Friday night – ended the speculation there and then.
“It’s dead in the water,” Chester said.
“We’re looking elsewhere.”
Fifita has played nearly 200 games in a Sharks jersey.
