Picture by Allan McKenzie/SWpix.com - 19/11/2022 - Rugby League - Rugby League World Cup 2021 Final - Australia v Samoa - Old Trafford, Manchester, England - Kevin Sinfield arrives at Old Trafford after his 7 ultra marathons in 7 days.

Last night the New Year’s Honours List was revealed and Leeds Rhinos legend Kevin Sinfield was not included.

The legendary player who has now raised millions in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease running seven ultramarathons in seven days in 2022 having run 101 miles in one day last year and seven marathons in a week in 2020.

All of this has been done in the name in the name of former teammate and good friend Rob Burrow.

In fact over £7 million has been raised by Sinfield against MND but he remains only an OBE despite calls for him to receive a Knighthood and finally be Sir Kevin Sinfield.

There has been some suggestion that he is ineligible given that he only recently received an OBE.

Nonetheless, people are still unhappy.

Leeds fans were on it instantly last night:

Others described it as “an absolute disgrace.”

Some claimed he deserved one for his on field achievements alone and especially after his work against MND.

It’s safe to say, fans were shocked.

And many felt he should have been the first name on the list.

Whilst others described it as simply “shocking.”

Others felt it went against the system’s purpose.

Whilst others felt it was simply “wrong.”
