All change in one Super League club’s boardroom

Leigh have appointed Karen Roberts as their General Manager.

Centurions chairman Mike Latham said: “Karen’s appointment is another important step towards the Club’s stated aim of becoming a sustainable Super League club.

“With her excellent track record in the game, Karen will set and drive standards and we are all looking forward to working with her.

“Karen previously worked in the leisure and catering industries and has a wealth of experience across a number of sectors including operations, events, hospitality and commercial activity.”

Karen Roberts said: “I am delighted and excited to accept the position of General Manager at Leigh Centurions and cannot wait to start this journey with the professional and talented people who are already involved at this great Club.

“I have worked within Rugby League in different roles over the last six years and have enjoyed every minute of it.

“It is a great honour to be involved with Leigh Centurions and I feel really proud knowing I will form part of their history.”
