There’s another treat in store for us this week as a whopping 11 games of Rugby League play out on our screens. In Super League, there are two huge battles in the race for the top six, and down under there is also a whole feast of Rugby League in store over the next week.
Here’s how you can catch all the action:
Thursday 3rd August
NRLW: Sydney Roosters vs St George Illawarra Dragons- 8:40am Sky Sports Mix
The NRLW gets things up and running this week as the Roosters take on the Dragons on Thursday morning. The NRLW season has thrilled us so far, so this is definitely not one to miss.
Friday 4th August
Penrith Panthers vs Melbourne Storm- 11:00am Sky Sports Mix
Warrington Wolves vs Catalans Dragons- 8:00pm Sky Sports Arena
Two matches are scheduled for Friday. We first head to Australia as the NRL Premiers Penrith Panthers face Melbourne, however closer to home there is a big match at the Halliwell Jones. Warrington Wolves face table toppers Catalans Dragons this week in their first match since Daryl Powell was sacked. The Wire will be hurting after a tough loss to Wakefield last time out, but can Gary Chambers turn the tide? It promises to be a belter on Friday night.
Saturday 5th August

North Queensland Cowboys vs Brisbane Broncos- 6:00am Sky Sports Arena
NRLW: Cronulla Sharks vs Gold Coast Titans- 6:10am Sky Sports Mix
South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Cronulla Sharks- 10:35am Sky Sports Action
Saturday morning kicks off with a double header from Australia. North Queensland’s men and women take on their counterparts from Brisbane to start our weekend. Elsewhere The Cronulla Sharks take on the Titans in the NRLW, and to wrap off the action the Rabbitohs face the Sharks in the men’s competition.
Sunday 6th August
NRLW: Parramatta Eels v Newcastle Knights- 3:00am Sky Sports Main Event
Canberra Raiders v Wests Tigers- 4:50am Sky Sports Arena
Leeds Rhinos v Leigh Leopards- 3:00pm Sky Sports Action
Featherstone Rovers v Halifax Panthers- 5:30pm Viaplay Sports One
There are four games on Sunday to wrap up another weekend of Rugby League. Again the focus is on the NRLW as the Eels face Newcastle, and then the Raiders take on the Tigers; however in the UK all eyes will be on Headingley as the Rhinos take on the Leopards. This is a huge game for the Rhinos, and you feel it is a must win contest if they want to get into the playoffs. Will they secure the two points against the Wembley bound Leopards? Last but not least we see high fliers Featherstone take on Halifax in the Championship. The Rovers have been in imperious form of late, and dispatched of Halifax’s Wembley opponents Batley with ease last time out, so this promises to be a cracker on Sunday evening.
