Former Hull FC and Hull KR halfback Albert Kelly walked out for his new side, the South Logan Magpies, on Sunday.
The 30-year-old Australian captained the Magpies – who are the Brisbane Broncos’ feeder team – to a 36-20 victory over Burleigh Bears in what was his debut.
Kelly showed some nice touches, having a hand in multiple tries with both his hands and feet as he looks to impress Brisbane boss Kevin Walters to get a spot in the first-team.
The halfback made over 100 appearances in Super League for Humberside rivals Hull KR and Hull FC after appearing on the UK shores back in 2015.
