Agar dishes out criticism at disciplinary as he welcomes back star from suspension

Richard Agar is set to welcome back Zane Tetevano after a four-match suspension, but the Leeds boss was still unhappy about the length of ban that the former Penrith loose-forward was given.

“We’ve clearly missed him; he’s one of our most senior players and the presence he brought to our team was very evident.

“It was frustrating and disappointing the length of the ban, if you look at the other bans that have been dished out.

“It’s been a difficult five weeks for him so it’s been a long time for him without playing so he’ll be a massive plus.

Agar couldn’t speak highly enough of Tetevano’s intelligence out on the pitch.

“He’s got a high rugby league intellect; he got it wrong but he didn’t get it that wrong and he knows that.

“He’s suffered watching us and we’ve struggled without him in the middle of the field.”
