There are more than a few inconsistent teams in Super League who can look unstoppable one week and then off colour the week after.
Salford Red Devils are one of those and former player Adrian Morley has said that on their day they are the best attacking team on Super League.
“We speak about how talented the Salford’s half-backs, hooker and full-back are and when they get it right on the day, they’re the best attacking team in Super League,” he said on The Last Tackle.
He also reflected on the display against St Helens: “They did something very similar to Warrington earlier in the season. First half it was magnificent, Warrington couldn’t get near them, then in the second-half Warrington got their own way and come back into it.
“It was similar to that but it’s about learning how to manage games and some of the errors were schoolboy really.”
He then underlined that Salford can be the best team in the league on their day:
“The main thing is they have got a massive threat and if they get it right, they can be the best team in the Super League on the day.”
