Former Salford Red Devils player and Salford fan Adrian Morley has expressed his thoughts on Tyler Dupree and his transfer request with Hull KR and Wigan Warriors interested in the prop.

As Dupree scored in the Red Devils’ clash on Hull FC, Morley, commentating on OurLeague, commented on his future as he expressed he hopes he can secure his future so he can focus on the game.

Morley then said, “I don’t think he has had the best start to the game, he has been dominated a bit by Hull’s pack.

“That is a lovely try though he uses his size and footwork.

“He will be delighted with that try and he will calm him down.

“Let’s hope he can sort out his contract situation and get back to playing good rugby.”

He also suggested Hull FC were targeting him in the game:

“Dupree is receiving a lot of attention from Hull FC so far. I wonder if they’re trying to see if his head’s in the game with the transfer request we mentioned earlier.

“It could be that they’re targeting him to see if his head’s really in the game.”

Of course they may also be targeting a player who could soon be playing for their biggest rivals.

Dupree ironically got Salford’s first try of the game.
