Adrian Lam reveals future plans as rumours of Super League move heat up

Adrian Lam was sacked as Wigan Warriors head coach after three seasons in charge, and now he has had his say on what he will do next.

The Warriors finished fourth in the Super League table, but acquired very little praise for their lack of attacking potency and that ultimately cost Lam his job.

The former Wigan halfback, however, was keen to stress that he will first put an arm around his players.

“I will make a decision in the next couple of weeks (about his coaching career), but I’m going to make sure I get over this first and put an arm around the boys and make sure I help them get through it,” Lam said.

“I’ve spent a big chunk of my life in Wigan and I love the people and I love our fans and the people in the sheds tonight.

“I’ve had a great ride and learned a lot through my time.”
