Hull KR defeated Hull FC 40-0 in the Hull derby at the MKM Stadium.

They led 14-0 at the break and in the second half a dominant Hull KR side tore ahead.

It handed Hull FC their sixth consecutive defeat to start the season.

But how did fans react?

Hull KR fans saw it as “absolutely brilliant.”

Others described it as pure class.

For others it underlined their love for the club.

One fan pointed out that those who suggested form goes out the window in a derby were very wrong.

Whilst another fan claimed they were a different class to their rivals.

As for Hull FC, one fan joked that they should be glad winless Wakefield exist.

With Hull FC having so many players out of contract, some fans felt that there should be no contract renewals after that.

Others want the reserves to play next week to send a real message.

Others described it as a disgrace.

Or “absolutely embarrassing.”

Worryingly one fan claimed he was not shocked by the result which is a damning assessment of the club after six consecutive defeats.
