Wigan fans are doing it tough.
In the last six weeks they have averaged 36 points conceded per game and that run has seen them concede 40 points against Catalans Dragons, as the French side took top spot instead of the Warriors, 40 against Leeds Rhinos who sit eighth in the league and 34 against their bitter rivals St Helens.
The Saints leap frogged Wigan for the first time this season with the win.
Wigan fans were certainly not happy.
One fan called for a complete rebuild despite the fact Wigan have some of the biggest stars in Super League and are currently the Challenge Cup holders.
The clubs needs refreshing from top to bottom, Lenegan, Radlinski the lot! The recruitment is absolutely shocking. French & Field are the only good players they've got right in 5 years! Cust, Ellis, Mago, King, Wardle etc are all 2nd grade players. Smith only creates with…

Wigan looked like the team to beat over Easter. One fan questioned what happened as he labelled the display pathetic.
Pathetic no fight in that second half, what’s happened since Easter? Horrible

That said one fan still backed them to be Champions at the end of the year given the nature of the competition:
Sneak in top 6. Win three on bounce. Champions.

Wigan have only won once in the league since the international break which one fan pointed out as he branded them as “terrible.”
Defence was terrible again. Attack was terrible again. Since the England game we've been dreadful & I don't get how or why that's happened.

Another fan claimed that without Field and French they would be in the bottom half. Again harsh given the calibre of some of their players.
With out French and field wigan are a bottom half side.

Another supporter felt that Wigan are struggling because of the number of changes they keep making to their 17.
You can’t get consistency when you’re making changes for the sake of it.
Play our 1-5 at the back with a positive minded off-loading pack that allows for an aggressive kicking game from the halves. That’s how we won last year, stop overthinking things & go back to the basics.

St Helens were also poor in the mind of one Wigan fan and that only exacerbated their disappointment.
Margin of the score was expected. But the worst part of tonight was that Saints we're really poor & knocked on plenty. Made it easy for them
Ellis & Byrne do OK then the drop off is shocking, Mago lasts 10mins then they have to bring Byrne back on early 🙆♂️ Big recruitment needed

Some fans fear Wigan won’t make the play-offs, it would only be the fourth time in history they did so, as they branded Wigan as average.
Wigan have been so average majority of season, there's not a chance this side go anywhere close to the GF. At this rate they'd do well to make the Play Offs. It's Piss Poor all over really. I can't see them beating Warrington or getting close to Salford week after
