Liam Watts and Joe Westerman have told The Sun about their close relationship from being young kids. Westerman also revealed why he rejoined Castleford after so long. The loose-forward said: “It was pretty much a case of, ‘Where do I sign?’ I always said I wanted to come back here but I’ve got a few good years left in me.”

Halfback rejects Toulouse
Examiner Live has revealed that Canberra Raiders halfback Sam Williams has rejected a move to newly-promoted Super League side Toulouse Olympique. Williams was contacted in a bid to replace outgoing halfback Johnathon Ford.
Martin’s sacrifice
Rhyse Martin’s sacrifice has been revealed as he took to the field for Leeds Rhinos after a personal loss during the week. Ash Handley told Leeds TV just how proud of Martin the whole squad is after such a great performance. Read more here.

Millington’s new club
Serious About Rugby League has revealed where former Castleford Tigers star Grant Millington will be playing in 2022. He initially retire at the end of the 2021 season.
Police warn over gang culture
The Daily Telegraph has revealed that the police has warned the NRL over problems with gang culture after a number of fights have broken out on the side of the pitches. Read more here.
