When you think of rugby league players and then acting, the two don’t really go hand-in-hand.
But, for the likes of Keith Mason and now Rob Parker, going into the acting scene has opened up an incredible amount of doors in a wholly different genre of work.
Parker’s film Boiling Point will be hitting cinemas this month, with Rotten Tomatoes releasing this description of the film:

Parker began his rugby league career with the Bradford Bulls, playing almost 100 appearances in the famous red, white and black between 2000 and 2005 before a permanent move to Warrington came about at the end of the 2005 season.
The prop forward made 66 appearances and moved to the then-named Salford City Reds, adding another 40 appearances to his name.
A loan spell at Castleford Tigers followed in 2011, before Parker moved permanently ahead of the 2012 Championship season.
Parker made three appearances for England in his career and even spent a period at 15-a-side team Wakefield RFC.
