Warrington Wolves’ Matt Davis has given an injury update after his season was cut short.
The Wolves themselves didn’t exactly have a good ending to the 2021 season with defeat at home to Hull KR ensuring their year finished with a whimper, with Davis sitting out the last few months after tearing his biceps.
“He worked really hard to get back and I feel devastated for him as he’s put a lot of work in since November, said head coach Steve Price.
“We’ll know more once he’s seen the doc, but torn biceps are normally 10-14 week injuries so it’s not great news.”
But, Davis looks ready to enter pre-season following his post on Instagram:
“Some season🌊🪓
“Gutted it finished the way it did for me but operation went well and time to rest up🐺”
