Wakefield Trinity have announced prop-forward Eddie Battye has signed for the club from London Broncos on a three-year deal.
Battye spent the second half of 2020 on loan at Trinity, making eight appearances for Chris Chester’s side.
Speaking on his move to Trinity, Battye said: “I’m just really pleased we’ve got it over the line.
”I’ve always wanted to play in Super League and to get the chance to do that at Wakefield is brilliant. I loved my time here last season and I’m looking forward to joining up with squad once more.
”I’ve been at London for five years and it’s a great club. I wish them all the best in the future as I’ve loved every minute there.”
Chester, added: “I’m really pleased we’ve got Eddie Battye tied up for three years.
”To finally get Eddie’s signature on a piece of paper is great news for the club and great news for Eddie.
”He made a big impression throughout the 2020 season and I’m looking forward to working with him over the next three years.”
