It’s been another strong season for Salford Red Devils under Paul Rowley and at the time of writing they look more than capable of securing another Super League play-off spot come the end of the season. They sit sixth at present, level on points with Catalans Dragons and St Helens and they’ll fancy their chances of carrying that form over the final 10 weeks of the season.
The situation over the off-season looks somewhat uncertain at the AJ Bell Stadium, though, with a total of eight players approaching the end of their deals. Here’s a look at those who will be leaving the club as it stands.
Amir Bourouh
The hooker has been a key man for the Red Devils this season but his exit has already been confirmed. He’s penned a three-year deal with Hull FC and will be making the move to East Yorkshire over the off-season.

Cust is another who could be making the move to East Yorkshire with reports of Hull striking a deal to sign the half-back. Cust has spent just one season with Salford after leaving Wigan at the end of the 2023 season. He’s made 11 appearances for the club, with one try and four assists coming along the way.
Ben Hellewell
Hellewell has struggled for game time this season under Paul Rowley, making just four appearances off the bench with injuries being a factor. As such it remains to be seen if the Red Devils will look to keep hold of the Scotland international beyond the end of the season.
Matty Foster
The former St Helens youngster has struggled to make an impact in Greater Manchester with three Super League outings coming inside his first season with the club. He has spent some time with Swinton Lions this season and while he is versatile, Salford will be weighing up his future.
Adam Sidlow
The forward will be 37 by the time the next Super League season gets underway and as the competition’s oldest player it remains to be seen if he will go around again.
Oliver Partington
Partington is another who has secured his future elsewhere with the prop penning a two-year deal with Catalans Dragons. He’s impressed since making the move from Wigan and he’ll be keen to kick on and make an impact in the south of France under Steve McNamara.
Andrew Dixon
The 34-year-old has made just three appearances for the Red Devils this season and like others on this list, given his age, it remains to be seen if he play on beyond the end of the season.
Kai Morgan
The youngster joined Salford from Leeds Rhinos last winter and so far he has made one appearance for the Red Devils. What the club’s plan is for him remains to be seen but if he is to leave the time he has spent learning from Marc Sneyd could be invaluable.
