Dolphins half-back Anthony Milford could be on his way to Super League, according to reports from The Australian Daily Telegraph.

A former State of Origin half with Queensland, he is also a Samoa international – showing his quality, even if he hasn’t had many opportunities to show it recently.

With the Daily Telegraph saying he is likely to head to the UK next year, we’ve had a look at the sides that may be interested in securing his signature.

With David Armstrong joining Leigh Leopards for 2025, it seemed clear that Matt Moylan would move into the halves again, to play alongside Lachlan Lam.

However, now there are suggestions that Moylan could be considering retirement, the Leopards may have to look elsewhere for a star to play in the halves.

Therefore, Leigh would surely be one of the key sides interested in the man that has recently struggled for games at Newcastle Knights and with the Dolphins.

He was linked with the club a year ago, as well.

Warrington Wolves

Leigh would surely, however, be up against Warrington Wolves for his signature, with Josh Drinkwater on his way out.

Oli Leyland seems to be a certianty to be signing for them next year, while they will have Leon Hayes back from an ACL injury,

However, the Wolves – who are looking to use 2025 to majorly expand their brand, including with a fixture in Las Vegas, will surely have their eyes set on a bigger name to have alongside George Williams next season.

Saints have already brought in a trio of NRL talents into their backs, with Kyle Feldt and Lewis Murphy added to the wings and Tristan Sailor joining to compete with Welsby for the full-back position.

However, after losing Lewis Dodd to the Rabbitohs, and having a group of halves left over that had a disappointing 2024, they may be in the market for another,

They’ll surely want to do whatever it takes to get back to the dizzying heights of just a few years ago for the club.
