2019: the year of Tedesco

James Tedesco has already had one of the greatest individual seasons in NRL history and is looking to top things off with a Grand Final victory and possibly a Clive Churchill Medal.

Lets go through a sort of timeline of Tedesco’s accolades in 2019 alone:

17 February 2019 – Tedesco is in the Roosters side that beats the Wigan Warriors 20-8 to win the World Club Challenge.

10 July 2019 – Tedesco’s Blues win State of Origin.

10 July 2019 – Tedesco wins Wally Lewis Medal for player of the Origin series.

9 September 2019 – Tedesco wins Brad Fittler Medal for best player in New South Wales.

2 October 2019 – Tedesco wins Dally M Player of the Year.

Possible accolades to come in 2019:

6 October 2019 – Back to back NRL premiership with Roosters.

6 October 2019 – Clive Churchill Medal.

14 October 2019 – RLPA Player of the Year.

25 October 2019 – Represent Australia against New Zealand.

Overall in 2019, Tedesco has notched up five big achievements (both team and individual), with another four still attainable!
