13 wins in a row for 1/2 Saints ?

Thursday night Rugby comes from the DW Stadium with the local derby between Saints and Wigan.
Justin Holbrook’s runaway leaders will be looking to end Wigan’s unbeaten record at home this season and with Shaun Wane struggling to find 17 fit players it’s no surprise to see the Red V 1/2 favourites to increase their hold on the league leaders shield.

Whilst Wigan have been inconsistent on the road, they have been faultless on their own patch but it’d be a shock if they win this one. Saints have won 12 games in a row and I don’t see this being unlucky 13,  you can get around 15/8 for a home win but I’d want more than that, there has been quite a big gap between these 2 this year.

I expect a valiant effort from Wigan in front of their home crowd and they may be able to stay inside the 6 point handicap, you can get Wigan at 11/10 with a 6 point start with Coral, but with Wigan starting slowly in a few games this season the 11/10 for Saints on the Half Time Full Time with Marathon is probably where the value lies.
If you’d rather go with Wigan on the handicap the 4/6 getting a 10 point start with Coral is probably the best value.

Barba is 9/1 favourite for the 1st try, Grace has a good record in derbies and would be my choice at 11/1.
Warriors fans may look to Liam Marshall, who scored a hat trick in the corresponding game last year, at 12/1.

Anytime try bets last the full 80 minutes and there are worse 9/2 shots than Scarsbrook anytime.

Back tomorrow for a look at Cas v Huddersfield, as always please gamble responsibly.
