Wigan to wear special shirt against Castleford

Wigan have unveiled a limited edition commemorative jersey celebrating 30 years since their famous 1987 World Club Challenge win against Manly.

The shirt will be worn during the club’s final home game of the season against Castleford and is a recreation of the kit worn during the 8-2 victory at Central Park.

The Warriors became the first English winners of the competitions with victory in 1987 as current head coach Shaun Wane was named Man of the Match.

Fans are able to pre-order the shirt now, click here for more information.
