Wigan favourites to beat Cas

Castleford travel to Wigan tonight for Friday night Rugby as they look to build on their solid start to the season.

The Tigers have gone somewhat under the radar this season as all the hype has been around St Helens and Ben Barba, but Cas would be level on points with the Red V if they win their games in hand, in fact that goes for both sides, having just 2 defeats each so far in 2018, ironically both to Saints and Warrington.
The bookies make Wigan 8/13 favourites and give the Tigers a 4 point start on the handicap. You can get around 6/4 for an away win.

The Warriors are unbeaten at home this season but tonight’s visitors are unbeaten away from the jungle since the opening day and beat Wigan 3 times last year, so this game looks too close to call.
Shaun Wane’s side were very lucky to win at Leeds last week but have been quite comfortable at home so far this though  looks their biggest test at home by a long way.

I do think Wigan will prove too strong in the end tonight but the value could be in a fun bet on the Half Time Full Time at 19/2, last week was the 4th time this season Wigan had been losing at the break but went on to win the game and you can get 19/2 that they do that again.
In a game that is tough to call that looks the best bet on the night to me, it could go either way but I think it could be a Wigan win by around 6-10 points.

Gale and Tomkins would be my man of the match picks but this bet is a lottery now it’s picked by fans.

In tonight’s other games St Helens concede a massive 22 point start at home to hapless Huddersfield and Wakefield concede a 4 point start for their trip to Salford.

More Super League action next week, as always please gamble responsibly
