Wakefield sign Hadley on loan

Dean Hadley Wakefield

Dean Hadley has joined Wakefield Trinity on a one-month loan deal from fellow Betfred Super League side Hull FC.

Despite being given the number 11 shirt prior to the season, the 24-year-old has yet to feature for the Black and Whites this season.

Former Skirlaugh Bulls junior Hadley will bolster Wakefield’s options in the forwards as he looks to get more game time under his belt playing top flight rugby league.

Hull FC head coach Lee Radford told the club’s website: “With Dean’s injury picked up in the last month, it’s put him behind the eight ball a little bit with regards to selection.

“With the Reserves only having two fixtures over the next month, going out for four games will hopefully get him the chance of some first-team football over the next four weeks, which will allow him to get some much-needed game time.”

Meanwhile, former Castleford Tigers player Brandon Westerman has joined Richard Horne’s Hull Reserves team on trial.
