Chile Rugby League have today appointed our very own Australian CEO of Serious About Rugby League Trev Smith as assistant coach to Grant Mitchell.
Trev has great experience as an assistant coach and has played a big part in helping A grade teams in the Penrith district. Last season he worked with Mounties Ron Massey Cup and Sydney Shield teams.
As well as playing a major part in the growth of Serious About Rugby League, Trev has worked with NSWRL over the last two seasons developing great understanding and his knowledge of the game.
Chile’s new Head coach Grant Mitchell has over 10 years experience of coaching at the Penrith Panthers and Western Sydney Academy of Sport and is the current coach of the Mounties Sydney Shield team. Grant has also worked with NSWRL.
