Lineham given two-match ban

Hull FC v Warrington Wolves

Warrington player Tom Lineham has been suspended for two matches after he was found guilty of a Grade C Reckless Strike.

The Wolves winger challenged the charge but was found guilty of an elbow on Ryan Hampshire that saw him sent to the sin-bin in Thursday’s match against Leigh.

Elsewhere, Wakefield captain Danny Kirmond pleaded guilty to a Grade A High Tackle and was fined £300 but escaped a ban for the hit on Leeds Rhinos half-back Rob Burrow.

Earlier today Leigh forward Glenn Stewart was banned for two matches after submitting an Early Guilty Plea to a Grade C High Tackle on Warrington’s Kevin Brown.
