Sneyd signs new Hull deal

Sneyd signs new Hull deal

Hull FC have taken up the option to extend the contract of their star half-back Marc Sneyd by a further two years.

The new deal will keep the 26-year-old at the KCOM Stadium until the end of 2019 as he looks to win more silverware with the Airlie Birds.

Sneyd was named Hull FC Player of the Year in 2016 as he helped guide the club to their first Challenge Cup win at Wembley Stadium.

“I’m really happy to be staying at the club and to take up the option,” Sneyd told the Hull FC website.

“We had a good year last year and the whole team played really well, which made my job a lot easier.

“A few lads recently have extended their deals with the club and it shows that people realise how good it is here and what potential we have. Hopefully we can have similar success to what we had last year.”
