Warrington Wolves vs Brisbane Broncos: World Club Series Preview

Warrington Wolves Prop Ashton Sims is the latest International star to join the sports 1st Trans-Atlantic side the Toronto Wolfpack .

Sims , who played for Fiji at the last World cup , joins the Canadian club for their 1st season in the Championship as they set their sights to target Super League . Paul Rowley’s side clinched promotion on Saturday with a hard fought win over 2nd placed Barrow .

The former North Queensland Cowboy told the clubs website “It’s truly been one of the best career moves I’ve made and I’m so glad it was to a loyal professional club such as this one , I am so honoured to have represented not only this club, but the people of Warrington and hope they know that I put every ounce of energy into this jersey doing the sport I love.”

Sims has made 90 appearances for the Wire , scoring 7 tries .

There’ll be a big shake at the Helliwell Jones next year as Coach Tony Smith plus players , Kurt Gidley , Rhys Evans , Brad Dwyer , Andre Savelio and Peta Hiku are all set to leave .
