SARL Sunday Treble

Betting Picks – Hull FC v Catalans

There is one game in Super League today and six in the Championship for us to look for a handicap treble.

The first leg of our treble is Dewsbury conceding a 6-point start at home to Swinton. Yes, Dewsbury got a real hammering at Rochdale last week but they can put that behind them with a comfortable win at home today. They are 4/9 for a home win with an away win 2/1 on the match betting.

Second leg is London Broncos to stay inside the 16-point handicap at home to Hull KR. The Broncos were very competitive against the Super League sides in last year’s Super 8s Qualifiers and they can keep this inside three scores. Rovers let in a few points against Bradford last week and three London scores today will need them to score nearly 40 points to cover the handicap. I can’t see London pulling off a 5/1 shock and winning the game but they can stay inside the handicap.

Final leg is Featherstone winning by more than 16 points on the handicap at home to Oldham. Rovers started with a solid win at Halifax last week and should win comfortably today. Oldham started with a great win over Sheffield but it will be a harder task for them at Post Office Road. Roughyeds fans can get around 5/1 for their side to pull off a shock win.

SARL Sunday Treble:

Dewsbury -6

London +16

Featherstone -16

In Super League Hull concede between 6 and 8 points on the cap for their trip to Wakefield. The handicap is about right for me,  if pushed I would just favour Wakefield if you can get an 8-point start. You can get around 2/1 for a home win with the visitors around 4/9 on the match betting.

An intriguing game at Batley today where Halifax are the visitors. The Bulldogs will be looking to put a heavy defeat at Toulouse behind them and this should be very close. Fax get a four-point start on the handicap but they could just land the match win odds of around 6/4 as Batley may still be smarting from last week. The home side are around 1/2 for the two points.

Bradford concede an 8-point start to last weeks Xamax Team of the Week Rochdale. The 2/1 for the visitors to win the game looks very interesting given their big win over Dewsbury last week, but the Bulls may just get home by around two scores as they were by no means disgraced at Hull KR in week one.

Finally new boys Toulouse concede a 12-point start for their trip to Sheffield. You would have to fancy Toulouse to cover the two-score cap on last week’s form, but we”ll need to see if they suffer from the same kind of travel sickness as Catalans do. A home win is around 3/1 with the French side around 2/7.

Live Rugby League every day from Thursday to Sunday next week as we build up to Sunday’s World Club Challenge between Wigan and Cronulla. As always please gamble responsibly.
