Rugby League World Cup Betting Review

The world cup is well under way now and there’s 3 more games tomorrow for us to look  at.
Let’s hope for some more competitive games after the routs we were served up on Saturday.

1st up sees Ireland take on Italy.
The Irish get a 12 point start on the handicap in what could be a very entertaining game.
The Italians seem to have a much more balanced squad to me and I think they can win this by at least 3 scores.
Italy are around 1/5 to win this with the Irish around 7/2.

Bookies can’t split France and Lebanon n the 2md game and the sides look well  matched.
You can get even money for either side If you shop around and there shouldn’t be more than a score in it.
This really could go either way but I just favour Lebanon if pushed.

Finally dark horses Tonga take on Scotland.
The Tongans have been all the rage since the squads were announced and are made to concede a 32 point start on the handicap.
You’d fancy the Bravehearts to keep the score inside that on last year’s form but this squad isn’t a large strong as the one that drew with New Zealand last year and I do worry that this could be anotherr one sided affair.
32 points is a massive handicap to cover but I do feel Tonga can win this by 40 points plus.
You can get upto 28/1 for a shock Scotland win but it’s Tonga to cover the handicap for me.
