Olstrum resigns for Haven

Kingstone Press Championship 1 side Whiteahaven have announced they have again captured the signature of Second Row forward Karl Olstrum for the 2018 season .

The forward played 10 games in the famous Chocolate , Blue and Gold colours last year scoring 2 tries and has agreed a one year extension to play at the Recreation Ground next year .

Head coach Carl Forster said  “We’re happy to retain Karl for another 12 months. At the end of the season we got the best out of him and we’re looking forward to having that kind of player for the full season next year. His ability is unreal and we’re confident he can be a big part of our success next season.”

He is the thirteenth player to sign on for the 2018 season after Jordan Burns was announced at the clubs presentation night last Saturday Night. Burns made 27 appearances in 2017 scoring 14 tries
