Milner sidelined for four to six weeks

Castleford investigating incident

Castleford Tigers hooker Adam Milner has been ruled out of action for four to six weeks following his ankle injury against Wakefield Trinity.

Milner was taken from the field during the 25-24 victory and has been an unsung hero for the Tigers this season.

Castleford coach Daryl Powell has called for other players to step up as Milner will leave a gap in the forwards due to his great defensive work.

“It’s a bit of a blow. He’s been influential for us this year,” Powell said.

“He’s a smart player with the ball. We need some of the other guys in the middle to step up.”
