Hull FC are interested in signing Matty Dawson , after the winger announced today he won’t be at Leigh next season .
Dawson took to Instagram today announcing Sunday’s Championship Final , where he broke his hand , would be his last game for the Centurions , he arrived at the LSV in 2016 helping the club secure promotion to Super League and he stated on his Instagram post that this was one of his greatest achievements .
It is well known that Leigh are having financial difficulties , having failed to gain promotion back to Super League , and this could be the main reason for his departure . He joined from St Helens , where he scored 16 tries , and scored 12 tries for Leigh last year in the top flight but this wasn’t enough to help them avoid relegation .
His availability has alerted both Hull FC and Castleford , with the Airlie Birds favourites to capture his signature . He would be a value for money option for the black and whites and provide cover not just on the wing , but right along the backline as Lee Radford and co look to move on from a disastrous end to their 2018 campaign ,
