Leeds Rhinos hooker Rob Burrow will be on the sidelines for this Friday’s match against Castleford Tigers after submitting an early guilty plea for his Grade B head-butt on Hull’s Jake Connor.
Burrow could have been banned for two matches if he was found guilty of the charge but he has decided to hedge his bets by submitting the EGP.
With three games remaining of the Super 8s, Leeds are five points clear in second place so a victory over the Tigers at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle would seal a home semi-final.
