Lee Briers named England academy coach

Former Wales international Lee Briers has been named the head coach of the England academy team.

The Warrington legend will continue as assistant coach at the Halliwell Jones Stadium while he coaches the England academy.

He replaces Andy Kelly in the role and the appointment comes after the introduction of a new performance programme established for under-16s and under-18s running from February to October.
