Key players to miss FC’s Super 8s opener

Hull FC’s Marc Sneyd and Mark Minichiello will miss their side’s opening Super 8s match against Salford Red Devils on Friday night.

Both have dropped out of the squad following the Black and Whites’ Challenge Cup semi-final triumph over Leeds Rhinos.

Josh Bowden is also replaced from this week’s 19 man squad, with Jordan Thompson, Steve Michaels and Jansin Turgut all coming in.

Hull FC’s 19 man squad is as follows..

Jamie Shaul, Mahe Fonua, Carlos Tuimavave, Josh Griffin, Fetuli Talanoa, Albert Kelly, Scott Taylor, Danny Houghton, Liam Watts, Gareth Ellis, Jake Connor, Chris Green, Jordan Thompson, Danny Washbrook, Steve Michaels, Sika Manu, Jansin Turgut, Brad Fash, Masi Matongo.

Salford coach Ian Watson will be without key men of his own as Lama Tasi, Michael Dobson and Junior Sa’u will all miss out. The former with a one-match suspension and the latter two with injuries.
