Kevin Sinfield to run London Marathon for Prostate Cancer

Kevin Sinfield London Marathon

Rugby League legend Kevin Sinfield MBE will be running this year’s Virgin Money London Marathon for the first time to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

Super League’s most successful captain will take on the mammoth 26.2-mile course alongside close friend Chris Stephenson, who is who is running in the prestigious event for the fifth time.

On Sunday 23rd April, both will wear the iconic blue and black colours to support the leading men’s health charity and help edge us closer to stopping prostate cancer being a killer.

Prostate cancer kills one man every hour and the money raised will help ‘shift the science’ and crack the three core issues of diagnosis, treatment and prevention which have been left unsolved for too long.

The deadly disease has affected many, including Sky Sports commentator Bill Arthur who was diagnosed five years ago; he is one of the 330,000 men in the UK suffering.

So please support Kevin and Chris in their bid to raise funds and help Prostate Cancer UK. You can donate to their JustGiving page here.
