Forgotten men return as Giants face Wolves

Huddersfield Warrington

Two recognisable faces will return to Super League on Sunday as Huddersfield hand new signing Jordan Turner his debut, while Warrington welcome back Kevin Penny after ankle surgery.

Much is expected of Turner who, despite failing to make a single appearance for the Canberra Raiders this season, was one of St Helens stand-out performers in 2016.

Danny Brough also returns for the Giants in place of Martyn Ridyard, with Rick Stone’s men looking to capitalise on the extra rest they have had over their opponents.

As mentioned, Penny looks set to make his long-awaited return on the wing for the Wolves, with   Morgan Smith coming in to replace the suspended Daryl Clark.

The match is a vital one in terms of the race for the top eight with Huddersfield one place and two points behind Warrington who sit ninth, however Rick Stone’s side do have a game in hand.
