Hardcastle hat trick helps to give Englands Womens side a win over the French

Chris Chapman’s England womens side earned a very hard fought victory over their French counterparts in Perpignan yesterday , helped with an impressive 10 minute hat trick from Bradford Bulls centre Amy Hardcastle .

A tough game played in very hot conditions saw England lead 22-4 at the break with a Kayleigh Bullman try added to the 3 from Hardcastle and 3 goals from Tara Stanley , Ophelia Coll scoring for the French on the half time hooter .

The hosts came out very strong after the break with 2 quick tries from Manson Sanarra  but a try from Bradford captain Kirsty Moroney settled any nerves leaving England 26-12 up . The French had the final say with Sandrone Lloria providing the games final score making the result 26-16 in Englands favour .

Featherstone Rover Bulman and Hardcastle stood out for the visitors , with Dobson earning praise in the pack , a special mention to Thatto Heath prop Chantelle Crowl playing the full 80 on her international debut putting in an eye catching display .

The 2 sides battle it out again this Saturday in Perpignan .
