Hansen set for Airlie Birds ?

Super League side Hull FC are being linked with a move to sign Widnes Vikings second row forward Harrison Hansen .

The Samoan International has only been at Widnes since signing from Leigh in June , he was one of a number of higher earners moved on by Leigh when they missed out on a place in the Super 8 Qualifiers.

Hull FC owner Adam Pearson has made no secret of his disappointment at the black and whites recent performance and has said changes in the playing staff will need to be made for next season .

With the Vikings looking likely to be relegated to the Championship for next season Hansen , who has a contract until the end of the 2019 season , could be a player Widnes would be prepared to reluctantly release .

Hansen made his name at the Wigan Warriors , where he played for a decade winning 2 Grand Finals before moving to Salford . He moved to Leigh in 2016 and helped the Centurions gain promotion to Super League that season , he also played for Samoa at the 2013 World Cup and has 6 caps alongside a single appearance for the Kiwis in 2006 .

H is always a popular hard working player in the dressing room and would fit in well at the KCOM Stadium , where FC lead the chase for his signature .
