Featherstone forward Darrell Griffin has been banned for two matches after taking the option of an Early Guilty Plea.

Griffin was cited by the RFL’s Match Review Panel for kicking during Rovers’ heavy Qualifiers defeat to Widnes on Sunday.

The incident was deemed to be a Grade C offence and after submitting an EGP, he will now miss his sides next two matches against Hull KR and Catalans.

Griffin was the only player to be charged from this weekend’s Super League Super 8s and Qualifiers action, however three Championship players will have their cases heard this evening (see below).

Ben Moores (Rochdale Hornets) – Grade B Other Contrary Behaviour.

Gareth Potts (Dewsbury Rams) – Grade B Dangerous Contact (EGP not available)

Gareth Potts (Dewsbury Rams) – Grade A Kicking (EGP not available)
