Coal Train destined for Toronto

The sports 1st Trans-Atlantic side , Toronto Wolfpack , have announced the signing of Aussie powerhouse David Taylor for 2018 .

Taylor , who played 22 games in Super League last year with Catalans Dragons , has been playing in the NRL for Canberra Raiders this season but has agreed to drop down to the Championship to play for Paul Rowley’s side . The Wolfpack are building a strong pack as they set their sights on promotion to Super League as they have already announced the signing of Olsi Krasniqi and Ashton Sims so far this week and surely there’ll be more to come .

Taylor , who has played in the NRL for Brisbane , Souths and Gold Coast aswell as Canberra , has also represented Queensland 8 times in State of Origin and has 1 cap for the Green n Gold .

Speaking about the move he said ‘I’m excited about the challenge of joining the Wolfpack ,There’s clearly some  good things happening with rugby league in Toronto and I can’t wait to get there.I’m pretty sure they’ll like my style of play and hopefully it will excite Canada’ .

The Wolfpack clinched promotion to the Championship , and the League 1 title , with a win over Barrow last Saturday .
