Catalans favourites to book spot in Super League 2018

2 games live on Sky today.
Not much at stake now in the 1st game as Hull’s win at Castleford last night means Wigan need to win by 90 points at Wakefield if they’re going to get into the top 4.

The Warriors have only themselves to blame for missing out on the semis after a woeful display against the Tigers last week.

With nothing really at stake this is a game to avoid, but the bookies make Wigan around 1/2 favourites to win at Belle Vue.

It’s hard to justify that price given last week’s awful display especially as Trinity can move ahead of the Warriors with a win, and whilst this game could go either way the value could be in Wakefield getting a 6 points start on the handicap.
The hosts are around 7/4 to win the game.

The big game of the day follows straight after as Widnes travel to Perpignan to take on Catalans.
This is a massive game as the winner will finish in 3rd place and guarantee their place in Super League next season whist the loser will have to travel to Leigh for the million pound game next week.

The Dragons, who have been average so far are around 4/7 favourites to win the game .

A win at Hull KR last week has given the French side a real chance of survival, but they were very unconvincing at Craven Park and have been the least impressive of the 4 Super League sides in the middle 8.
They have lost both their games against Super league opposition so far in the middle 8 and I think Widnes can add to that today.
The Vikings have already won at LSV and had a good win over London 7 days ago,  they are around 11/8 too win the game but you can get them with a 6 point start on the handicap and that is probably where the value lies in this one.

It’s semi final week next week, Saints travel to Castleford on Thursday, as always please gamble responsibly.
