Castleford Tigers have announced their financial figures from last year, with a profit of £286,052.
The club’s overall turnover was £4.6 million, which is an increase of over £500,000.
Castleford chairman Ian Fulton said in a statement: “This is the third consecutive year that Castleford Tigers has not received any financial assistance, as we continue to strive to being a lean and well run Rugby League club,”
“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our club staff, club sponsors, volunteers and of course I’d like to thank our supporters for helping us achieve this.”
