Bulls boss Toovey set for Titans

Bradford Bulls head coach Geoff Toovey will leave the club at the end of this season to take over at Gold Coast Titans, according to reports Down Under.

Toovey is almost certain to return to Australia with the Bulls set to be relegated to League 1, where they are expected to become a part-time team.

Current Titans coach Neil Henry is expected to be sacked within the next week and it is believed that Toovey is top of their wish list.

Speaking earlier in the week, Toovey said he was not sure of his next move but is likely to jump at the chance to become an NRL head coach again.

“I’m really committed to this year and I was hoping we could get off the bottom where we were situated but that hasn’t been the case,” he said.

“It has been an enjoyable year and like the players I am looking to finish on a high, but I don’t know exactly where or what I’ll be doing next year.”
