Bridge set for lengthy ban after allegedly assaulting match official

Oldham player Danny Bridge will find out tonight if he will face a long suspension after receiving a Grade F charge for assaulting a match official.

The incident took place during the game against Keighley earlier this month with Bridge coming into contact with the referee.

If found guilty, the former Warrington back-rower faces a minimum eight-match ban which will likely end his season two months early.

Featherstone forward Gareth Hock also faces the Independent Operational Rules Tribunal for Grade D use of the knees. The hearings start tonight from 5pm.

Danny Walker (Widnes) – Grade A Dangerous Throw (0 Match Suspension)

Russ Spiers (Doncaster) – Grade B Punching (1 Match Suspension)

Josh Johnson (York) – Grade B Punching (1 Match Suspension)

Ben Moores (Rochdale) – Grade B Foul & Abusive Language to a Match Official (2 Match Suspension)

Karl Ostrum (Workington) – Grade A Punching (1 Match Suspension)

Anthony Murray (North Wales Coach) – Grade B Foul & Abusive Language to a Match Official (1 Match Suspension)
