Black and Whites 5/2 for win at Saints

Hull FC 39-26 Wigan Warriors

Hull FC travel to the Totally Wicked Stadium to take on St Helens where both sides look to make it 3 wins in 8 days over Easter.
With bodies still recovering from the tough holiday program squad depth can be key in games like this. Last time out Saints had a comfortable win at Widnes whilst FC had to to rely on a late drop goal from Marc Sneyd to beat Wakefield.

No surprise to see League leaders St Helens quoted at a very short 4/11 to win this with an away win around 5/2.
Justin Holbrook’s side concede 8 points on the handicap and whilst I think they’ll just get the job done, games between these 2 tend to be tight so the Airlie Birds may just stay inside that.
In their last 2 home games the redvee have lost to Leeds and beat Wigan, but the win in the derby was by 3 points and this could be just as close.
You can’t even rule out another draw between the sides, but with only one defeat all season and Roby bang in form I think Saints can win this by the minimum 1-5 points.

The league leaders have been very reliable and were very good value for the win over Wigan on Good Friday, so expect a strong start with the crowd right behind them.
Whilst FC have struggled in games this season, they don’t often lose by many and the likes of Houghton are returning from injury.
This was shown in their great derby win, being down to 12 men for most of the game.

So a tight game could be in order,  the man of the match has become somewhat of a joke  Barba got it last week in what was an insult to James Roby but if this daft public vote continues it’s hard to look anywhere other than Barba at 5/1.
Percival is also a lovely shout at 20/1. As for FC I’d just prefer Kelly at 10/1 over Sneyd at the same odds, the likes of Richardson for Saints at 10/1 and Houghton in black and white at 16/1 will be popular but it’s Barba and Kelly for me.
Wigan play in France tomorrow, as always please gamble responsibly
