Ash Handley signs new Leeds deal

Leeds Rhinos centre Ash Handley has signed a three-year deal with the club, keeping him at Emerald Headingley until the end of 2021.

One of the most impressive players in a Rhinos jersey this year, the outside-back has been rewarded for his great form.

Scoring ten tries in 15 matches, Handley is one of Leeds’ most potent attackers and will be delighted to have his long-term future nailed down.

Speaking after signing on the dotted line, the 22-year-old said: “I knew this year was going to be a big one for me with my contract up and I wasn’t a regular in the team,”

“I knew I had to work hard and push for a place in the side and fortunately I have got a chance at centre and had a good run of games.

“I am delighted to sign a new three year deal at Leeds and I am excited to see where that takes me.”
