5/2 Rhinos to beat Saints ?

Jordan Lilley loan return

It’s the Champions versus the Champions elect on Friday night Rugby as St Helens travel to Headingley to take on Leeds.
Whilst Saints are riding high 6 points clear at the top of Super League Leeds are on a run of 4 defeats in a row. The Rhinos are probably looking down instead of up at the moment and sit in 6th place only 4 points ahead of the bottom 4.

Leeds will take heart from their win at Langtree Park in April, one of only 2 sides to beat Saints this year,
The bookies see this only going one way and give the Rhinos a 10 point start on the handicap.
Very rarely you’ll see odds of 5/2 for a home win at Headingley , but this shows the gulf in class between the 2 sides at the moment.

Saints are as short as 1/4 to claim another 2 points here and whilst I think they’ll probably do this,it could be a little closer than the odds suggest.
Leeds get a 10 point start on the handicap and  have only lost by more than 10 points once this season at home and they will surely rise to the challenge of taking on the leagues best side. The Rhinos are notorious for raising the intensity when it matters and I think they can give the red V a game.

An away win by around 6-10 points is about where I see this ending up in what could be a tight affair.
Barba at 8/1 heads 1st try lists but I’d prefer Percival at 10/1.

England play the Kiwis in Denver next week as always please gamble responsibly
